Activity Village is built on purpose and human connection. But for it to endure, it must also sustain itself.

We are not looking at a single profit engine. We are exploring a balanced, layered model.

Made by hand. Held by community.

Possible income streams could include:

  • A small restaurant or café serving seasonal produce and handmade goods

  • Retail of items created in the workshops

  • Rental of workshop spaces to independent makers

  • Hosted workshops where the village takes a modest share

  • Intergenerational learning programs

  • Small residential units for active over-50s, structured in a way that protects dignity and fairness

The intention is simple:

The village supports the makers.

The makers support the village.

The environment remains beautiful, maintained, and welcoming.

Revenue would not exist to maximise return at any cost, but to maintain quality, protect the communal spaces, and ensure the concept can grow responsibly for the next generations to come.

We are still refining this layer. But we are clear about one principle:

Purpose must be financially sustainable, without becoming commercially dominant.
